It’s high time we cease the foolishness and officially call the Champions Tour what it truly is, the “Nostalgia Tour”. After watching these aging legends of our sport struggle around a genuinely tough test of golf, we need to stop pretending that this is competitive golf featuring the finest over-50-year-olds in the sport.

2008 MastersThe reasons we love The Masters so much are too numerous to count. For many seeing the same course, and watching today's great players conquer the same hole that Sarazen double-eagled to win in 1935 has a familiar warmth to it. It's like seeing an old, dear friend every year at the same time.
